Toward Locust Management: Challenges and Technological opportunities, Sikaunzwe, Zambia

Locust invasions have proved to be a threat the world’s food security and livelihood. Governments in locust infested areas Africa adopted various early warning strategies aimed at preventing eliminating impact of both African Migratory Locusts Red Locusts. These measures include community sensitisation, use eLocust3 system spraying affected using recommended pesticides. Management locusts study area, Sikaunzwe Agriculture Camp Zambia, is however faced with unique challenges. The research was focused on exploring challenges by ministry agriculture managing spread existing strategies.
